  1. This disc contains a collection of utilities and packages in two
  2. formats.  One set of directories is provided for systems that support
  3. the Rock Ridge extensions to the ISO-9660 format, and another set is
  4. provided for systems that do not.  These are in the RockRidge and
  5. iso9660 directories respectively.

  7. The iso9660 directory tree contains tar files while the RockRidge
  8. directory has these files unpacked.  A set of utilities are provided
  9. in source form in the directory YM_UTILS that support copying or
  10. linking from the RockRidge directories to compatible filesystems
  11. under operating systems that do not have Rock Ridge support.  This
  12. will allow you to recreate the original mixed case long directory and
  13. filenames without having to unpack that tar files.  Each directory on
  14. the disc has a translation table that shows the original filename and
  15. the ISO-9660 alias.

  17. The top level directories in each tree are shown below.  The file
  18. fullindx.txt lists all the files in the iso9660 tree.  The RockRidge
  19. tree is identical except the tar files have been exploded into
  20. separate directories at whatever level they appear at in that listing.
